Honoree Hub 925 LLC’s new office, which it moved into three months ago, is 2,000 square feet and houses up to 60 members.
Hub 925 is a co-working space above a Starbucks coffee shop in southwest Orlando's Dr. Phillips area, offering startups a flexible alternative to office space. It features a membership-based system for tenants, offering resources such as free Wi-Fi; print, scan and fax; private and community desk space; conference room; and free coffee, tea and snacks.
Design Poole of Winter Park did the interior design for the space, which has a train station theme. Its “work” bar and back bar are built with reclaimed wood and spikes from old train tracks used for handles and footrests. Glass doors for phone booths feature frosted glass artwork by local artists handmade with steam engine images. Semi-private meeting space is built in a tunnel shape, covered with graffiti outside and reclaimed wood paneling inside.
“It is our business to appeal to a wide range of businesses and workers,” said HUB 925 partner Catherine Cavins in submission materials for Coolest Office Spaces.
