Margaritaville added another hotel in downtown Nashville fall of 2019. The urban tropical vibe is a fresh new face for Music City. Margaritaville celebrates music and located only steps away from Broadway but the "escapism" brand brings a contemporary connection to the ocean and a laid back beach attitude you would not expect. Nashville visitors will find this a refreshing change while they can still experience all the benefits of an upscale hotel experience in this popular destination. Lap board siding and painted brick provide a clean white backdrop to natural textures and bright colorful fabrics.
Design Poole was responsible for the interior design throughout the hotel following cues from the brand's distinct core elements that make this brand one of the fastest growing brands today. Modern architectural elements and tropical patterns pull you from space to space as you find each area inspired by outdoor adventures of the sea or cozy beachside jam spots.
The lobby lounge lays beneath a custom light fixture that was designed to take on the shape of sails floating over the bow of a sailboat. The eclectic seating groupings give a casual sense of comfort under lofting breezes. The Margaritaville Radio Station at the corner of the lobby brings traffic during broadcasts and interviews sitting on the streetfront of 5th Avenue. The microphone chandelier adds a playful detail over the fireplace lounge to pull these areas together.
The property has banquet and pre-function spaces for large groups and events. Open and airy with full height glazing and soft white textured sheers and lush axminster carpet with blue water inspired swirling patterns to allow any social event plenty of space to spread out.
Meeting spaces serve the business travelers or smaller event opportunities with direct access to a balcony overlooking 5th Avenue. Banquet and pre-function spaces are enriched with natural light with open views of the downtown area.
Nashville being one of the nation's leading "foodie" towns, the Owner wanted to create a unique beverage and food experience at the rooftop. Design Poole designed Fins Bar and Grill to be the ultimate escape for the hotel, immersing you into a breezy beachside cafe concept directly opening onto the pool, giving you a true open air feel. Playful light fixtures and beach accessories along with custom detailing on the furnishings makes this bar and restaurant a popular hang out for guests and locals.
If the open air feel isn't right for you, hop into the pool and sit at one of the floating cocktail tables or bench seating surrounding the pool for live entertainment on the pool deck. Tanning beds and outdoor fire pit lounge areas leave nothing for you to want or need to find your perfect spot to relax or party.
The guestrooms and suites provide a sophisticated casual retreat for the leisure or business traveler. Each having a feel of a contemporary beach cottage with custom furnishings and lighting to perfectly fit the laid back mood.
The design responds to the honky tonk location through artwork and brings a warm invitation with teak wood tones, textured surfaces and white brick accent walls. Lyrics bring a smile of delight through pillows and artwork never missing a moment to take you to your favorite beach escape!
